Frequently asked questions

Features, supported platforms, data storage, and development status for Flowmoor and RecordTimeLabel.

What is Flowmoor?

Flowmoor is a desktop media workflow tool developed by Flowmoor Studio. Download full YouTube or Twitch videos or selected ranges, then continue with local subtitle transcription, highlight candidate review, trimming, and batch exports. The media library keeps sources and processing outputs together.

How does Flowmoor differ from RecordTimeLabel?

RecordTimeLabel is a Chrome extension for capturing timestamps and notes while watching YouTube or Twitch. Flowmoor handles downloaded media, subtitles, and editing assets; it can also bring RecordTimeLabel records into selected-range downloads. Both tools are developed by Flowmoor Studio.

Which operating systems and websites are supported?

Flowmoor currently provides a 64-bit Windows 10 / 11 version. YouTube and Twitch are the main workflows for downloads and channel scheduling. RecordTimeLabel is available from Chrome Web Store for timestamps and notes on YouTube and Twitch.

Where are files stored? Does everything work offline?

Videos, subtitles, and exported files are saved to local folders you choose. Transcription can use local models, which require an initial model and tool download. Media downloads, optional cloud AI analysis, and signed-in RecordTimeLabel cloud sync require internet access, so the complete workflow is not fully offline.

Is Claude already integrated?

Claude integration is not complete. We are exploring transcript understanding, content organization, semantic labels, and highlight discovery with Claude. These are planned directions, not currently available Claude features.
